Beach Notes
Surin Beach: 10 minute walk heading north of the
house, can also be accessed via a scramble over the rocky
shoreline immediately below the house. Surin is a quiet and
relaxing powdery white sand beach, lined by a row of high
Casuarina trees which give shade to those who need to escape
from the tropical sun. However it has a steep incline below
the water line and strong undertow currents which make it
unsuitable for swimming or any water sports during the rainy
season. At other times of the year the beach offers good
snorkeling and surfing opportunities.
Lamsing Beach: 5 minute walk heading south of the
house. Lamsing provides a feeling of serenity and peace
rarely found at other Phuket beach locations. Set against a
background of lush palm trees and winged by rounded granite
boulders, some two hundred meters of flashing white sand and
picturesque rock formations below the ocean are on offer
with some of the best snorkeling opportunities on the island
to explore.

Getting to and from Talay Sawan consumes limited travel time
by automobile with the shopping facilities of Phuket town 25
minutes away and the tourist area attractions of Patong
being less than 15 minutes drive, the transfer to Phuket
